To Tame a Spark 08 Darkwing sped through the black hallways towards the holding cell. Top priority was to keep Megavolt contained and that job had fallen to him. The corners of his beak pulled upwards in a predatory grin. This was where he belonged, where he thrived. Hooter's offer still dangled before him mockingly and he shoved it to the side. Drawing his gas gun, he moved with more caution trusting his instincts and the night vision specs. Without them he’d be doing everything by touch, since the director had ordered that even the emergency power be cut.

The place was eerily deserted and quiet. The hallways were transformed from secure strongholds to To Tame a Spark 08 by ~MizzMegz

Raph's Melody 03 As Raph headed back to the lair, it was with a lighter tread. All in all he was feeling quite smug. Melody had used the “L” word. She didn’t seem disappointed when he didn’t ( couldn’t) say it back. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to, but he didn’t even say it to his family, at least not out loud. He relied on his actions to speak for him. His tongue, while sharp and quick for a comeback or sarcasm, became thick and cumbersome when it came to affection. He was relieved Melody knew that much, or at least she seemed to. She convinced him that after “lounging” around in her apartment for the pastRaph's Melody 03 by ~MizzMegz

Raph's Melody 02 It was three months later and he was still coming to see her. He had to or he’d go insane. Melody was a great girl but just as stubborn and bullheaded as his reflection. She needed looking after or she’d end up right back where he found her, in the midst of a rabid pack of Purple Dragons. He even caught himself nagging about her going off alone after dark. Peh. He was starting to sound like Leo. Gee, had hell frozen over?

Peeking through the window, he smiled as she sat at her piano. He rapped on the window, their signal that he was friendly and came in peace. The few times he’d forgotten, he about got clocked if not for his rRaph's Melody 02 by ~MizzMegz

Raph's Melody “Raphael?”

He would have smirked if he wasn’t so dang cold. She sounded so hopeful, like she’d been waiting for him all week to make an appearance. He liked that. That someone was waiting for him, not just to give him a lecture or continue an argument, but because she just wanted to see him again. He didn’t get that too often. Especially not lately.

“Yeah, it’s me.” She didn’t move. “So ya gonna let me in or did I come a long way for nothing but frostbite?”

DWD- Charming Young Man It was another beautiful spring day in suburbia. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the birds were singing and on Avian way… Darkwing Duck was fuming.

“-AND do you know what he screamed when he pushed the perpetrator into the police squad’s trip line?” The hero spat angrily as he tossed his hat on the kitchen table with a scowl. “ ‘Spoon.’ Like THAT’S supposed to make any-”

Negaverse Jack, red-handed. Jack clasped his hands behind his back, looking up at the sky and whistling. "Ah, it's a beautiful day: bright blue sky and fluffy white clouds... a warm breeze... Just listen to those chirping birds. He froze. Birds? There were no trees. His stomach slowly sank as he realized where the sound must be coming from.
Inching sideways, he casually glanced over his shoulder and, seeing what he feared, broke into a cold sweat.
"Fangirls!" he screamed. That seemed to boot them into action. He ran, arms outstretched, adrenaline pumping his legs to carry him just out of reach of the giggling crowd pounding crazily behind him.

DWD-Witch-Aftermath She awoke with a cry and grabbed the air beside her. She felt her hand seize an arm and she gasped through her panic. Her heart was racing as she felt the body beside her shift and lean over her. She swallowed hard, the nightmares that had plagued her leering at her through the darkness of her eyelids. A warm hand brushed the hair away from her sweaty forehead.

She was a child again, sick in bed her father beside her there to bring her what she desired, but his hand felt different. Her body felt different. What had sleep done to her senses? Mood: dA Love

Well, Chapter 8 for To Tame a Spark is up. I revamped Chapter 7 so that I don't have continuity issues. Some of you might be scratching your head about what I changed, but trust me it would have caused me problems later. And if you can't see what I changed, all the better!

As for my other fics, like my TMNT one, I have no idea when or if I'll continue them in the near future. I tend to gravitate to the fic my brain feels like working on. That and now I've got some of my original things that I'd like to try to work on.

So, To Tame a Spark is my main focus at this point. And I'm still trying to get my DWD:The Angela Chronicles off the ground. I have an idea of where I want the story to go, its just getting it on paper in way that it does justice to the characters and the plot.

Though, I will be getting back into full swing, and I do mean FULL swing with school in a week or so. My time will be fleeting, but that seems to be when I produce my best work. We'll see what happens.

I've noted that this has been said before but it is also true for myself. I'm too lazy to leave a comment on every chapter of "To Tame A Spark" but that does not deminish the quality of the story. I haven't thought of Darkwing Duck in years but Megavolt was always my favorite villain and as of late I thought that his story could have a darker more demented side to it. Also when reading a fanfic I tend to stay clear of ones in which an orignal character plays a major part but you acheive this with a finesse that makes the story all the more interesting.
